  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (plus more for brushing)
  • 2 ¼ Tsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Cups All Purpose Flour (or 3 1/2 is dough is too wet)


  • In a bowl combine coconut milk, sugar (or honey), unsalted butter, and salt. Heat in the microwave until butter is melted (30 seconds – 1 min) don’t let it boil.
  • Add instant yeast and egg, mix. Finally, add in 3 cups of flour, or 3 1/2 if you find your dough is too wet. Transfer to a flat surface and for 4-5 minutes.
  •  Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover and allow to rise for 1-2 hours in a warm place. Once done, punch dough down and divide into 10 pieces, and roll each into a ball.
  • Roll each piece with a rolling pin to a 1/4 inch thin circle. Place onto a parchment lined baking sheet, brush with melted butter, fold in half then brush the top with butter too. Repeat for all 10 balls.
  • Cover and let rest for 15 minutes. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 15 – 20 minutes. Allow to cool and enjoy!!!
