6 Ingredient No knead Overnight English Muffin Recipe!

  • 2 ½ Cups All Purpose Flour
  • ¼ Tsp Salt
  • ¼ Tsp Instant Yeast
  • Cup Milk
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp Butter


  • In a bowl, add all purpose flour, salt, instant yeast and mix.
  • In a separate bowl, add milk, water and butter. Microwave until butter is melted(30-90 seconds depending on your microwave). Add that to your dry ingredients.
  • Mix everything together very very well with a spatula until there’s absolutely no dry flour left. Scrap down the sides of the bowl and bring your wet dough to the middle. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise at room temperature for at least 12-18 hours!
  • The next morning, flour and turn your dough onto a flat surface, cover with plastic wrap again and let it relax for 10 minutes. Once the gluten has relaxed, roll your dough out to about 2 cm thick.
  • Using a circle cookie cutter, cut your dough into 3 inch round shapes and place onto parchment lined baking tray. Cover once again and allow them to rise for 45 minutes.
  • To cook: heat a large non stick skillet to medium heat. Using a spatula, move your English muffins into the skillet, leaving about 2 inches between each one. Cover with the lid. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
  • Flip your English muffins and allow to cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side. Allow to cool, toast and enjoy!!!
