Ingredients 
 

  • 2 Cups Hazelnuts
  • ¼ Cup Cocoa Powder
  • Cup Maple Syrup (or honey, sugar)
  • 2 tablespoon Neutral oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Optional

  • ¼ Cup Milk

Instructions
 

  • Pour hazelnuts onto a baking sheet and roast at 400F for about 8 minutes. Using a paper towel, rub the hazelnuts to get the skin off (if you can't get it all off it's okay!)
  • Place your hazelnuts into a blender and blend until they become a smooth nut butter- this took about 10 minutes on high for me.
  • Add in cocoa powder, maple syrup (or sweetener of choice), oil and a pinch of salt.
  • Blend until smooth! This is optional but if your Nutella isn't smooth you can add a ¼ cup of milk.
