Ingredients
- 2 Cups Hazelnuts
- ¼ Cup Cocoa Powder
- ⅓ Cup Maple Syrup (or honey, sugar)
- 2 Tbsp Neutral oil
- ¼ Tsp Salt
Optional
- ¼ Cup Milk
Instructions
- Pour hazelnuts onto a baking sheet and roast at 400F for about 8 minutes. Using a paper towel, rub the hazelnuts to get the skin off (if you can’t get it all off it’s okay!)
- Place your hazelnuts into a blender and blend until they become a smooth nut butter— this took about 10 minutes on high for me.
- Add in cocoa powder, maple syrup (or sweetener of choice), oil and a pinch of salt.
- Blend until smooth! This is optional but if your Nutella isn’t smooth you can add a 1/4 cup of milk.
